On the 28th of March 2005 the Nunney Castle carried passengers between Bristol and Avonmouth Docks, proving the line is still suitable for passenger travel. They could operate a train service between Portishead and Bristol back then. Why can’t we do it now? The Tourism committee strongly supports the Portishead Railway Group in this effort.
